Abstrak

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the effect of differences in learning outcomes of classroom experiments using Interactive Learning Role Models with conventional learning on classroom control. This type of this research was experimental. The population of the research was all classes VII of SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Padang that listed in the academic year 2012/2013, to amount  135 students. Samples were taken as much as two classes of four classes using purposive sampling technique, and then conducted the drew to determine the experimental class and the control class and the experimental class was obtained VII3 class and control class was the class VII4. Analysis of data taken in the form of assessment of cognitive, affective and psychomotor. The results of this study demonstrate that the learning outcomes of students who use the biology of Interactive Learning Role Models were better than the results of biological studies students by using the conventional learning. With an average value of 82.42 experimental class and the control class 74.84 with a standard statistical test (α = 0,05). Likewise affective assessment on classroom experiments with the average value is 86.58 and the average value of the psychomotor 87.14. In the control class average 73.77 affective and psychomotor average value of 68.61. Based on the results of this study concluded that the experimental results of classroom learning and classroom control with t> t table with a significance level of 0.05 where 3.09> 1.67 thus H1 is accepted H0 rejected. Dealing with the conclusion, the teacher were suggested in order to implement the Interactive Learning Role Models in the learning process.
