MODEL APPLICATION TYPE ACTIVE LEARNING QUESTION STUDENT HAVE COMPLETED SUMMARY OF BIOLOGYCLASS VIII LEARNING MATERIALS ON FOREIGN SMPN 31 PADANG

Abstract
This study aimed to see differences in the results of the conventional learning (cermah, discussion, question and answer) and the type of learning with an active model of student question have a summary of the material biology teaching class VIII SMP NEGERI 31 Padang. Learning out come sare observed cognitive test result sare seen from the end of the study, where as aff ective and psychomotor domain susing observation she ets were used as supporting data to determine the differences in learning out comes. This research is experimental research, the population in this study were all students for class VIII SMP NEGERI 31 Padang. Sampling was done by using purposive sampling, where samples were taken from two classes that average daily tests biology students in semester one closer together, but that with the same teacher, then done the draw, the result sof the draw for class VIII-5 obtained as experimental class VIII and class-2 as a control class. Hypothesis testing is done by t-test, because the data were normally distribute dan homogene ous variation. The results showed the average value of daily tests biology class students experiment with the average valuerata 84,82 and the results of the control class students learn biology 76.96. (a = 0.05) obtained thit= 2.77 and ttab = 1.67 meanst > ttab then the hypothesis is accepted. Affective and Psychomotor as sess ment experimental class (Affective: 90 dan Psychomotor: 88) higher than the control class (Affective: 86 and Psychomotor: 83). Research that has beend one is the application of the experimental methodin biology learning can show marked differences in the experimental class than the control class that can improve learning out come saff ective, cognitive and psychomotor experiment sin class.
