Abstrak

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes between cooperative learning biology numbered head together (NHT) by using a flash card media with conventional learning, and to look at the cognitive, affective and psychomotor VIII grade student of SMP Pertiwi 1 Padang. This type of research design randomized only control design. The study population was all student in class VIII SMP Pertiwi 1 Padang which consist of 4 classes. Using purposive sampling techniques and through random, then the exsperimental class is VIII.1 class with 32 student and control class is the class with of student VIII.4 28 people. Average value of the exsperimental class learning outcomes 69,21 higher than the control class is 67,14. While the average value of psychomotor and affective exsperimental class that is 69,5 and 77,5 higher than the control class 67,5 and 68,5. Data analysis of the result obtained t' is 0,79. Hypothesis testing based on criteria derived Hand H0  values are in the region where - 204  > 0,79  > 2,04. Thus the hypothesis is accepted (rejected H0 and H1 is accepted). By comparison the average value between the exsperimental class and the control class, it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of student by implementing cooperative learning type Numbered Head Together (NHT) by using a Flash card media better learning outcomes as compared to using conventional learning class student VIII SMP Pertiwi 1 Padang.
