ABSTRACT
This study aimed to determine differences in biology students' learning out comes using Active Learning Strategies Model Scrambel using media images of the cognitive, affective and psychomotor class XI IPA 1 SMAN Batang Anai. The study began on April 22, 2013 and ended on June 3, 2013. Type of research isexperimental research design used in this study is a randomized control group posttest-only design. Then conducted a random number to determine the experimental class and the control class, and finally obtained the experimental classis class 3 and class XI Science class XI IPA controlis 2. Techniques of data analysis in this study consisted of anormality test, homogeneity test and testhy potheses. The results in this study with the standard statistical test (α =0.05) indicated that this study provides improved student learning out comes in the cognitive aspects of the class average value of 77.58 and 62.58 on the experimental control class. Similarly, the affective and psychomotor aspects, the affective aspect with an average value of 86.77 and 84.85 class experimental on the control class. And psychomotor aspects with an average value of 89.60 and 66.72 class experimenton the control class. It can be concluded, that the implementation of active learning strategies Scrambel models using media images with conventional learning differences learning out comes biology class XI IPA SMAN 1 Batang Anai.
