PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PRE-TEST DALAM PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR BIOLOGI KELAS X SMAN 1 JUJUHAN KABUPATEN BUNGO

The research was carried out by low yields due to the lack of students studying biology readiness of students in learning at school start. This research aimed to determine the effect of pre-test in the STAD cooperative on learning outcomes biology class X SMAN 1 Jujuhan on February 11- March 8, 2013. This type of research was experimental research design Randomized Control Postest Only Design. The population of this research were all of X grade of X SMA Negeri 1 Jujuhan. Sampling techniques are Random Sampling. Having obtained two classes of samples, determining the experimental class and the control class was randomly to obtain class XB as the experimental class and the control class XA classes. Hypothesis testing is done by using a t test, because the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. From the results of this research showed significant positive effect on increasing student learning outcome biology with an average value of 75,38 experimental class and 68,54 on control class (α = 0,05). Pre-test the STAD cooperative learning model can also improve students affective, because the more active students in learning.
