ABSTRACT

Rather the causes of speech codes in Learning Indonesian Teachers in SMP Negeri 2, Koto Kampar Hulu,  regency Kampar. This study aims to determine the cause of the speech code switching Indoneisa teachers in language learning. Shared aspects of code switching is the cause of the other person or the opponent says, the presence of a third person who is not the same language background, the status of a third person, the situation changes speak, and changes subject. The theory is used as supporting material according Chaer and Agustina. This research is descriptive qualitative research method, namely the research procedures which produce descriptive data in the form of words written or spoken of the people and observed behavior. The research object is the cause of that code switching occurs in the process of learning Indonesian in SMP Negeri 2 Koto Kampar Hulu. The results showed that the cause of the speech code over teacher at SMP Negeri 2 Koto Kampar Hulu, are: (1) the causes of code switching based on factors other person or opponent said, (2) the cause of the second code switching based on factors change the situation, (3) and code switching based on factors cause changes in the subject. Based on the results of this study concluded that the causative factor of five over the code speech teacher at SMP Negeri 2 Koto Kampar Hulu, only found three factors that cause teachers to switch codes in learning Indonesian.
