Abstrak

This research is motivated low yields social studies in Class V SDN 13 Valley Crossing this is caused by the mismatch of teachers in teaching methods. To improve student learning outcomes in social studies learning researchers applied a model Numbered Head Together. The purpose of this class action research to increase learning outcomes IPS with Model Numbered Head Together in Class V SDN 13 Valley Crossing. The study was conducted is classroom action research conducted two cycles, each cycle of two meetings. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students of SDN 13, Valley Crossing, totaling 31 students, 13 males, 18 females. Techniques used in the form of observation and data collection techniques mixed with a percentage. The results obtained using the Numbered Head Together with two cycles showed an increase. The average assessment cycle lesson plan I is 63.90% rise in the second cycle to 85.25%. Implementation aspects of teacher appraisal cycle I is 66.66% increase in cycle II to 79.16%, and the aspects of the first cycle of students is 66.66% rise in the second cycle to 65%. And learning outcomes of students in the first cycle is 63.90% rise in the second cycle to 85.25%. Thus it can be said that the type Numbered Head Together to improve student learning outcomes in social studies learning in class V SDN 13 Valley Crossing, West Pasaman.
