Abstrak

The research was based on the fact that occur in the fourth grade at SDN 21 Kinali, that teachers still use the lecture method and focuses on the delivery of learning materials. In addition, researchers look at the lack of interest in student learning, especially in learning civics. The research problem is how an increase in student interest in learning through methods Civics Picture and Picture-in-class IV SDN 21 Kinali. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in student interest in learning through methods PKN Picture and Picture-in-class IV SDN 21 Kinali. Type of research is a class act. The research instrument was a questionnaire interest in student learning, teacher learning sheet and final test cycle. Based on the analysis sheet test students' interest in learning that the data obtained Civics: Civics students' interest in learning on students' ability to respond to indicators increased from 38.88% to 83.83% in the second cycle, the ability of students to answer questions increased from 44.44% to 80.80% in the second cycle, students' ability to infer the learning materials increased from 41.46% to 86.36% form the first cycle to cycle II.Dari results obtained, it can be concluded that learning through methods Civics Picture and Picture in class IV SDN 21 Kinali can increase students' interest in learning civics. Researchers suggested to other researchers to be able to use traditional methods of Picture And Picture order to increase students' interest in learning.
