KEMAMPUAN MENULIS BERITA BERDASARKAN KELENGKAPAN UNSUR 5W+1H SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 9 SOLOK SELATAN

Abstrak

This study aimed to describe the ability to write a story based on completeness of 5W +1 H Junior High School eighth grade students 9 South Solok. This research is a qualitative study using descriptive method that aims to describe anything that is currently in effect, in which there is an attempt to describe, record, analyze, classify and prepare or interpret the conditions that currently occur or exist. Object of this study is the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 9 South Solok, which amounts to 30 people. Data was collected by way of: (1) provides five pre-determined topic, (2) assign students to write a text message in accordance with the chosen topic, (3) collect student writing a text message. While the technique of data analysis done by: (1) read news stories student outcomes, (2) classify aspects assessed, (3) analyzing data, (4) compute capabilities of all students, (5) Describe the results of data analysis, and (6 ) Summing up the results of the study. The results showed that the ability to write news bedasarkan completeness of 5W +1 H are 22 students who complete the 5W +1 H is the element with a percentage of 73.33% at good classification (61% - 80%), while the elements that do not complete the 5W +1 H are as many as 16 people with the percentage of 26.67%. Based on the results of this study concluded that there has been a lot of class VIII SMP 9 South Solok who can write news based on completeness of 5W +1 H.
