PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA BERUPA MODUL PADA MATERI STATISTIKA UNTUK SMA KELAS XI

Abstrak

A math learning  tool is important in learning process. it is useful to create an enjoyable atmosphere. The author figured out some problems, such as: the students were not interested and they did not pay attention to the teacher. They were lazy to do more exercises, they did not really understand about statistics, they did not have many books to study, and the limited number of books. The purpose of this research was to construct a modul based on lesson plan, this might help students in studying and mastering the mathematic concept and in the modul students could learn and doing some exercises. The type of this research was development research using Borg and Gall steps. The steps consist of: product analysis, planning initial product, validity and revising, try out in small class and finally the last product which was tried to larger community. Based on the research, the author found out that the validity of the modul was good and it can be used as instrument. After being tried to small class, they were 83,70% of studens it positively. In larger class, studens even responded it in more positive way since 93,04%, gave better feed back. So, it can be concluded that the modul which was developed is valid and can be used as a tool in math teaching and learning process in statistic class.
