Abstrak

PENGEMBANGAN MODUL PEMBELAJARAN IPA BERBASIS INKUIRI UNTUK KELAS IV SD NEGERI 44 SUNGAI LAREH Yogi Afif Naufan¹, Hendra Hidayat¹, Arlina Yuza¹ ¹Primary School Teacher Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Bung Hatta University e-mail : yogiafifnaufan@gmail.com ABSTRACT This study aims to develop a valid and practical inquiry-based science learning module for grade IV SD Negeri 44 Sungai Lareh students. This type of research is Reserch and Development (research and development). This inquiry learning module was developed using 4-D. the research was conducted in the even semester of the 2019/2020 school year. Data collection was done by validating the developed module trial. The module design that has been validated by three experts was then tested on a limited basis in class IV SD Negeri 44 Sungai Lareh to determine the practicality of the module being developed. From the results of the research conducted, it is known that the inquiry-based science learning module on the material of energy sources for fourth grade elementary school students is in the very valid category with an average percentage of 94.99% validity. The module that has been developed is categorized as very practical by the teacher with an average percentage of practicality of 91.67%, it is also categorized as very practical according to students with an average percentage of practicality of 97.18%. Based on the research that the author has done, this shows that the material in the module supports the achievement of basic competencies, complete and clear material descriptions, modules that have been developed according to student needs, and the module displays pictures that help student understanding. Because the module that has been developed can be used as teaching material in the inquiry-based science learning process on Energy Sources material, the authors suggest for grade IV elementary school teachers, based on the results of validity and practicality that have been done, inquiry-based science learning modules on Energy Resources material for Class IV SDN 44 Sungai Lareh which has been developed can be used as an alternative teaching material for teaching Energy Resources material Keywords: inquiry based module, valid and practical
