PENERAPAN METODE SQ3R DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 1 PERANAP KABUPATEN INDRAGIRI HULU

Abstrak

In the learning process the students still difficult to understand the lesson when the teacher asked them to read the book firstly. Besides that, the teacher dominated during learning made the students become passive. This cases made the researcher using Survey, Question, Read, Recite and Review (SQ3R) method. This research wasaimed to know the development of student’s activities at grade VII SMPN 1 Peranap by using SQ3R method and to know whether the result  of student’s study math by using SQ3R method better than  result of student’s study math by using common learning at grade VII SMPN 1 Peranap. This research is experiment research as needed two classes of the sample. The research’s instrument is observation sheet and achievement test. From the result of this research concluded the result  of student’s study math by using SQ3R method better than  result of student’s study math by using common learning at grade VII SMPN 1 Peranap.
