PENINGKATAN PARTISIPASI BERBICARA SISWAKELAS IV DENGAN STRATEGI MODELING THE WAY PADA PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA DI SDN 23 MATO AIA KABUPATEN SOLOK SELATAN
Abstrak
This study is motivated by the lack of student participation in learning Indonesian at the fourth
grade students at SDN 23 Aia Mato Solok Selatan. The purpose of this research is 1) to improve
students 'speaking participation in an opinion on a particular topic provided by the teacher, 2) to
improve students' speaking participation in making practice examples based on an illustration that
the teachers, 3) to increase the participation of talk in demonstrating a scenario the teacher. This
type of research the researchers used in this study is action research (PTK). Subjects in this study
were fourth grade students of SDN 23 Aia Mato Solok Selatan, which amounts to 18 students.
Based on the results of this research is that students' speaking participation in an opinion on a
particular topic that the teacher is 33.33% in the first cycle increased to 72.22% in the second
cycle, the participation speaking students in practice based on illustrative examples provided by
the teacher is 38.88% in the first cycle increased to 77.77% in the second cycle, the participation
of students speaking demonstrates a scenario in which the teacher diberkan 44.44% in the first
cycle increased to 83.33% in the second cycle. The results of this study it can be concluded that
the Indonesian language learning through Modeling Strategies The Way in SDN 23 Aia Mato
Solok Selatan can improve student learning participation. Based on the results of this study
researchers suggest that teachers can implement the Strategy Modeling the Way in learning
Indonesian.
