Abstrak

Mathematics learning is a teaching and learning process built by educators to improve students' thinking creativity which can foster students' thinking skills, and can develop new knowledge abilities as an effort to improve good mastery of mathematical material. Susanto (2013: 186). In the learning process during the Covid 19 pandemic, educators provide a general formula/form of a mathematical concept by sending it via WhatsApp Group, as well as the teaching and learning process using the discussion method. This has an impact that the learning process carried out by educators on students seems very boring because the method chosen by educators is not appropriate, it can be seen from the lack of learning resources and limited communication between educators and students. This type of research is research and development with the research model used is the 4-D development model (define, design, development, and disseminate). In this study, it is limited to the development stage, namely to the practical stage. This research was conducted in the second semester of 2021 with the material of simple fractions. The research instruments include validation sheets and practicality sheets. In the validation process, the LKPD was validated by 3 expert lecturers including 1 didactic and content expert, 1 linguist, and 1 display expert with an assessment percentage of 86.19% valid criteria. In the practicality stage, the LKPD was tested on 1 educator and 28 students with an assessment percentage of 92.05 very practical criteria. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the development of LKPD meets the valid criteria and is very practical to be used as one of the teaching materials in mathematics learning, especially in class III in elementary schools.
