PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA KELAS IV MELALUI PENDEKATAN OPEN-ENDED DI SD N 14 SIGUNTUR MUDA KABUPATEN PESISIR SELATAN
Abstrak
The background of this research by learning techniques are still watching and do notmotivate students in early learning so that students are not interested in memperhatian, so theclass became noisier. Due attention to students in learning mathematics less so. It is found in the classroom is the students are passive students just waiting to see what the teacher asked, no one asked as if understood and when asked about the teachers who have studied meteri only 2 to 6 people can answer. At the Mathematics Learning Class IV channeled through open ended approach in SDN 14 Siguntur muda South Coastal District? Objective research is to improve students' learning activities in the fourth grade mathematics learning through Open Ended Approach in SDN 14 Siguntur muda. The researchers are researchers who conducted class actions in several cycles. Subjects of this study were fourth grade students of SDN 14 Siguntur muda totaled 29 people. Researcher observation instruments are student activity sheets. Results of data analysis of student learning activities obtained average percentage in cycle 1 was 48.38% and the second cycle was 81.48%. so the conclusion is Open Ended approach can improve student learning activities in the learning of mathematics..
