Abstrak

DEVELOPMENT OF INTELLIGENT STAIRS MEDIA BASED ON PROBLEM BASED LEARNING ON SUMMARY OF MATERIALS AND REDUCTION OF CLASS 1 ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 38 PADANG XI PUNGGASAN Yulia Frestica Afnita Putri1, Ira Rahmayuni Jusar1 1Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Bung Hatta University Email : yuliafrestica@gmail.com ABSTRACT This study aims to produce problem-based learning-based smart ladder media in grade 1 SD Negeri 38 Padang XI Punggasan that meets valid and practical criteria. This type of research is research and development (R&D). The development model uses 4-D which is modified into 3-D. The steps taken are define, design, and develop. This research was conducted in the odd semester of the 2020/2021 academic year on theme 1 (me) sub-theme 4 (I am special). In the validation process, the smart ladder media was validated by 2 validator lecturers, namely the material validator and the media validator. In the practical process, the smart ladder media was tested by 1 teacher and 9 1st grade students at SD Negeri 38 Padang XI Punggasan. Data for validity are obtained from the results of the validation sheet which has been assessed by the material expert validator, getting a percentage of 84.09% with valid criteria and the media expert validator getting a percentage of 93.18% with very valid criteria, so that the overall average validity value of the two validators is 88.63% with valid criteria. The data for practicality is obtained from practicality sheets (response questionnaires of teachers and students) which get practicality scores by teachers with a percentage of 95.45% very practical criteria and practicality scores by students with a percentage of 94.44% very practical criteria, so the average practicality by teachers and students get a percentage of 94.94% with very practical criteria. This shows that the problem-based learning-based smart ladder media on addition and subtraction material is valid and very practical to be used as a learning resource and concrete material for the teaching and learning process of students and teachers.
