Integrative thematic learning is a learning approach that integrates various competencies from various subjects into a particular theme. With this learning, it is hoped that students can think thoroughly without being separated. As explained by Rusman (2011: 128-283), that thematic learning has implications for the creation of learning and learning situations, namely 1) implications for teachers, in applying the thematic learning model in elementary schools requires teachers to be creative and innovative so that teaching and learning activities become more effective. meaningful and complete, 2) implications for students, in applying the thematic learning model students are first made aware of the importance of linking curriculum material/content to each lesson, 3) implications for textbooks, it is required to provide textbooks that integrate between one subject. lessons with other subjects, 4) implications for learning media, it takes the availability of media that can support the thematic learning process. The government has prepared thematic books that will be used in learning. This book consists of two types, namely teacher books and student books. The teacher's book is a guide for teachers in carrying out learning in the classroom. The teacher's book contains learning steps designed using a scientific approach in accordance with the demands of the 2013 curriculum. While the student book is a guidebook as well as an activity book that will make it easier for students to be actively involved in learning to master certain competencies. According to the teachers, student books still have shortcomings because many teachers think that this student book has few pages, making it difficult for teachers in the learning process in class. Therefore, it is difficult for students to distinguish between science, social studies, or Indonesian subjects contained in student books. This type of research is development research. The development research model used is a 4-D model, namely define, design, develop, disseminate. in this study only up tostage develop due to power, cost, time, ideas and abilities. Research instruments include validation sheets and practicality questionnaires. The integrative thematic learning module was validated by 7 lecturers, and tested on 1 teacher and 10 students. The results showed that the development of an integrative thematic learning module with theme 5 "Ecosystems" sub-theme 2 "Relations between living things in ecosystems" using a scientific approach for fifth grade elementary school students met the valid criteria with an average validity of 3.70. The modules that have been developed are categorized as very practical by the teacher with an average percentage of practicality of 95%, also categorized as very practical according to students with an average percentage of practicality of 89.3%.
