NILAI-NILAI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM CERITA RAKYAT DI KECAMATAN AMPEK NAGARI KABUPATEN AGAM

Abstrak

The purposes of this research are: 1) inventorying lore of Kecamatan Ampek Nagari Kabupaten Agam, 2) describe the character educational values in lore of Kecamatan Ampek Nagari Kabupaten Agam. Theories used in this research are Danandjaya of oral and character education folklores, and Mulyasa of variety of character education. The type of this research is qualitative with descriptive method. This research was using key informant. Data collection is previously audio visual lore that is transcript into writing, and then it is transliterated into vernacular and Indonesian language. Data analysis technique is performed in three stages that are inventories, classification/data analysis, and reporting. Based on data analysis, it is found out these results. First, there are six sorts of lore in Kecamatan Ampek Nagari Kabupaten Agam that are “Danau Talao”, “Batu Bagiriak”, “Bukik Pungguang Ladiang”, “Batu kambiang”, “lubuak ngungun”, and “sitalang barajo surang”. Second, lore of Kecamatan Ampek Nagari Kabupaten Agam has characteristics of creativity, stoical, cares, responsibility, cooperation, discipline, curiosity, religius, friendly/communicative, leadership, and self-confidence. Therefore, it can be conclude that six lore in Kecamatan Ampek Nagari Kabupaten Agam are consist of character educational values.
