Abstrak

Education is a human effort to expand knowledge in the context of forming values, attitudes, and behavior. This research is motivated by the lack of use of Civics learning media that is in accordance with the characteristics of fifth grade elementary school students. This study aims to produce media puzzle a-based make a match in Civics learning material rights, obligations, and responsibilities for fifth grade elementary school students that are valid and practical. This type of research is research and development with the research model used is the 4D model, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. This research is limited to 3D models. Research instruments include validation sheets and practicality sheets. In the validation process, the media is validated by 3 lecturers (material experts, design experts, and linguists). In the practical process, the media was tested by 1 teacher and 20 students. Based on the results of the study, the resulting media development met the valid criteria with a percentage by material experts 75%, design experts 96%, and linguists 98% of the three experts obtained an average of 89.67% and met the very practical criteria with a percentage by the teacher. 92.5% and by students 89.58%, from the assessment of teachers and students obtained an average percentage of 91.04%. So, it can be concluded that the media puzzle -based make a match in Civics learning material rights, obligations, and responsibilities is valid and very practical to be used as one of the learning media for Civics for class V elementary school.
