PENGARUH PENERAPAN STRATEGI ACTIVE LEARNING TIPE LEARNING STARTS WITH A QUESTION TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS SISWA KELAS XI IPA SMAN 5 PADANG
Abstrak
The problem of this research is the lack of interaction between teacher and students and among fellow students and poor student’s mathematical communication at grade XI Science SMAN 5 Padang. Appropriate strategies to deal with it is Learning types of active strategies Learning Starts with a Question. The purpose of this research to determine how the development of student’s mathematical communication development at grade XI Science SMAN 5 Padang by using strategy type Learning Active Learning Starts With a Question and determine whether student’s mathematical communication skills at grade XI Science SMAN 5 Padang by using Active Learning strategy type learning Starts with a Question better than on mathematical communication skills of students learning to apply conventional learning. This type of research is experimental. Population is all of students at grade XI Science SMAN 5 Padang. Samples are XI Science one as experiment class and XI Science two as control class. Based on the results of data analysis and = 2.0339, = 1.9980. The conclusion is that student’s mathematical communication skills by using strategy type Learning Active Learning Starts With a Question better than on mathematical communication skills of students learning to apply conventional learning.
