PENGARUH KECERDASAN LOGIS MATEMATIS DAN MINAT BELAJAR SISWA TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA KELAS VIII DI SMP NEGERI 10 PADANG

Abstrak

This research is motivated by the results of math learning of grade VIII students with a level of mathematical logical intelligence and student learning interest that is still less than the minimum completion criteria (KKM) value limit. In addition, the lack of interest or interest of students towards learning mathematics that causes students have not been able to use their intelligence in solving problems related to mathematics. The aim in this study was to prove the influence of mathematical logical intelligence and students' learning interests on the mathematical learning outcomes of grade VIII students. The research method used by the authors is quantitative research. While the type of research used is double correlation research with multiple linear regression techniques. The type of data obtained is from mathematical logical intelligence test data, distribution of learning interest questionnaires and the value of students' mathematical learning outcomes. The subject of this study was a class VIII.2 student who numbered 24 students. The results of the study in the calculation of the coefficient of determination are used to find out how much percent of the influence given free variables (X1) and (X2) to bound variables (Y). From the results of the analysis showed that the influence of mathematical logical intelligence and students' learning interests on learning outcomes was 11.1%. So that 88.9% of students' math learning outcomes are influenced by factors other than mathematical logical intelligence and students' learning interests.
