PENGGUNAAN KALIMAT EFEKTIF PADA “HALUAN KITA” SURAT KABAR HALUAN PADANG

Abstrak

This research aimed to describe the use of effective sentence through the analysis based on the effective regulation in the sentence on “Haluan Kita” The News Paper of Haluan Padang. The type of this research was qualitative research with the descriptive method. The descriptive method was a method where the data to be collected in the form of words, figure and not the numbers. Theory of this research was referred to Lamudin Finaza in his work of Indonesia Language Composition about the regulation of the Indonesia effective sentence. From the analysis data was found the mistake in the usage of effective sentence was referred to some aspects (1) the unity and mixing elements, the mistake was found in the use of unclearly subject and sentence structure was still ambiguous make the sentence being incomprehensible. (2) parallelism-form, it was  caused by the unparallel prefix or suffix in using, thus the sentence become less parallel, (3) assertiveness of the meaning, it was caused by nothing the effort of adding the assertive particle, focus and pay attention to one of the elements or parts of the sentence. (4) The efficiency of word, still being the use of impracticable word that should be avoided. (5) Logic word, the mistake was found on the less idea in the logic sentence; therefore, it made misunderstanding content of the sentence. From the data analysis can be concluded that there were some mistake in the use of effective sentence   on “Haluan Kita” the news paper of Haluan Padang, it was caused by some factors : (1) Redaction Team of  the news paper of Haluan Padang lack of master in the way of writing the effective sentence better and correct, (2) lack of Redaction Team in the alert of doing the setting process thus the use of effective sentence on “Haluan Kita” was inappropriate with Indonesian effective sentence regulation.
