Abstrak

This research aims to describe the form of using calling word among kinship and the form of using the verb for calling to larger relationship in Minangkabau Language of Ampang Kuranji Dialect at the Koto Baru District in Dharmasraya Regency. Some aspect of the research were the form of using the verb for calling which is used by Ampang Kuranji Society, those are: calling to nuclear kinship and larger relationship. This research used theory of calling words by Syafyahya Leni. The type of this research was a qualitative research by using descriptive method. The research object of this research was Minangkabau language, Ampang Kuranji Dialect at the Koto Baru District in Dharmasraya Regency. Focus of this research was to observe the form of using the verb for calling word in Minangkabau language among Ampang Kuranji Society at the Koto Baru District in Dharmasraya Regency. The result of research showed that about eleven model of calling words, those are: apak, induk, amak, abang, uda, pak anak, yung, pik, kan. And to be found the calling words to larger relationship, those are : puyang, nek wo, nek nga, nek cu, nek cik, nek tam, nek ntan, apak, pak wo, pak nga, pak do, pak tə, pak ncu, pak cik, pak etek, mak wo, mak nga, mak do, mak cik, etek, ban, inek, induk, amak, mak tan, mak tə, mak cu, mamak, nok wo, nok nga, nok do, nok cik, mak cik, wo, nga, udo, abang, uni, tə, ndak, tam, mantuo, cung, kak tino, tuan, uda, wak, kan and so on. Based on the research result can be concluded that at the village of Ampang Kuranji Society there were seventy eight of calling words for examples, eleven the calling words to nuclear kinship and sixty seven of calling words to larger relationship.
