Abstrak

The application of the scientific process skills method is one of the scientific methods used in this research. This study aims to determine the level of Science Process Skills of students, class XI MIPA SMAN 1 Ulakan Tapakis and analyze students' science process skills. The sampling technique used a mixed method research method with purposive sampling technique, with a total sample of 88 students of class XI MIPA. The data collection technique used a questionnaire in the form of multiple choice questions. The results showed the science process skills (KPS) of students on each indicator and found out the percentage of students who had the level of science process skills in each category of ability (high, medium, and low) in the motion system material with the Bounded Inquiry Laboratory learning model. This study used a mixed methods research method with purposive sampling technique, where the class studied was XI IPA at SMAN 1 Ulakan Tapakis. Data obtained through tests and observation sheets. The research instrument used was a science process skills test in the form of multiple choice questions. The results showed that the indicators of the science process skills of students From the ten indicators analyzed, the predictive indicator had the highest percentage of 70% and the indicator using labor tools, materials, and sources and applying the concept had the lowest percentage of 27.27%. The science process skills based on the gender of the highest students are male students 55.86%, while the lowest are female students 52.57%, Based on the T test, the value of sig 0.000 <0.05 T arithmetic value 1.337 > T table 0.678 then there is a significant difference in Science Process Skills (KPS) based on gender. Based on the ANOVA test in the difference in student scores from 88 students, only 1 student had a high score, 17 students had a moderate score, and 70 students had a low score. The results of this study are expected to help teachers to improve students' science process skills
