ANDROID-BASED GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING INFORMATION SYSTEM DESIGN AT SMK N 1 GUGUAK

Abstrak

Information technology is currently developing very rapidly. Almost all fields of work utilize computer technology in data processing. One of them is in the field of education, namely in guidance and counseling services. Guidance and counseling is the process of providing assistance by an expert to a person or several individuals with the aim of overcoming the problems they face. In this case, between the supervising teacher and students. Efforts to improve student guidance and counseling services are needed to facilitate supervising teachers in providing maximum service. This study aims to produce a Guidance and Counseling Information System Design application that can help Bk teachers to input case data or problems that students do at school. This type of research is a design using the waterfall model, by carrying out several stages, namely analysis, design, coding, testing. The results of this study indicate that the design of the Android-based Guidance and Counseling Information System at SMK N 1 Guguak is valid and practical and can be used in the Guguak and Counseling process for students at SMK N 1 Guguak.
