PENERAPAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN MASTERY LEARNING DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VII SMP ADABIAH PADANG

Abstrak

There are some factors which cause students are low in mathematics of learning result that is many student still not understand with mathematics concept taught by the teacher, students did not ask questions about the material that have not been understood, lack of interest and  student motivation to participate mathematics and students initiative to learn material exhaustively were still lows. This research intent to know is the mathematics learning result for who are taught applying mastery learning strategy better than the result using convensional learning. The kind of this research is experiment, the population is student class VII SMP Adabiah Padang school year 2012/2013. Technique of the taking sample with random sampling, the instrument of this research is a test learning result. Tes result of learning to be analysis by using test t, after getting the data analysis and examination of hypothesis for data result of learning students mathematics, hypothesis that proposes accepted, Then can be concluded about the mathematics result for students who taught using mastery learning strategi is better than using convensional learning.
