Abstrak

In learning at school, teachers are more likely to only convey theory by using the lecture method and using the blackboard, so students are less motivated and enthusiastic and tend to get bored quickly in learning activities. technology because teachers do not understand how to apply and run technology, so the learning process tends to be boring. The purpose of this research is to produce interactive learning media based on Corel Draw in science learning theme 6 my ideals for class IV SD Negeri 26 Nanggalo, Pesisir Selatan Regency which is valid and practical. According to Saiful, (2020:1) Corel Draw is a vector graphics editor created by Corel (a software company based in Ottawa, Canada). Corel Draw is used to create display designs on media which include backgrounds, buttons, questions, basic competence pages, material pages, evaluation pages, and profile pages. The type of research conducted is Research and Development (R&D) research using a 4-D development model, namely, Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. However, due to time constraints, this research only reached the Develop stage. The subjects of the corel draw-based interactive media trial in science learning were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 26 Nanggalo, Pesisir Selatan Regency. In the validation stage, the module that has been designed is followed by validation activities by a validator consisting of 3 lecturers from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Bung Hatta University. For the practicality stage, it is carried out after the interactive media is validated and feasible to be tested with the aim of knowing the practicality of the interactive learning media that has been made. Based on the results of development research in terms of material aspects, interactive learning media based on Corel Draw in science subjects on the life cycle material developed was declared very valid by the validator with a percentage of 89%. In the language aspect, the interactive learning media based on Corel Draw that was developed was declared very valid by the validator with a percentage of 99%. The validation activity for this media display was assessed by the PTIK lecturer by obtaining a percentage result of 85%, therefore the overall validity average was 91% with very valid criteria. The percentage result of the teacher response questionnaire is 95% which can be stated on very practical criteria, while the percentage result of the student response questionnaire is 92% which can be stated on very practical criteria. It can be obtained the average practicality by teachers and students obtained an overall average of 94% with very practical criteria. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the Development of Corel Draw-Based Interactive Media in Science Learning Theme 6 My Ideals Class IV SD Negeri 26 Nanggalo, Pesisir Selatan Regency is very valid and very practical to use in science learning, so it can be used as one of the teaching materials. in class IV SD Negeri 26 Nanggalo, Pesisir Selatan Regency.
