KEMAMPUAN MENULIS CERPEN SISWA KELAS IX.4 DENGAN TEKNIK PEMODELAN DI SMP NEGERI 1 SOLOK SELATAN

Abstrak

This research aimedto  describe student ability in writing short story consisted of theme aspects, message, plot, setting and the figure on the short stories which was written by student at the class IX.4. The type of research was a qualitative research. The object of this research was the entire students at the class IX.4 SMP Negeri Solok Selatan totally 24 people. From the data analysis can be summarized that: (1) in the theme aspect, 13 students had already able and 11 of them was still unable to develop the theme well with the average point 72,67% (more than enough), (2) in the message aspects, 13 students had already able and 11 of them was still unable to develop the message well with the average point 75,45% (more than enough), (3) in the plot aspects, 9 students had already able and 15 of them was still unable to develop the plot well with the average point 68,04% (more than enough), (4) in the setting aspects, 13 students had already able and 11 of them was still unable to develop the setting well with the average point 72,67% (more than enough), (5) in the characterization aspects, 17 students had already able and 8 8 of them was still unable to develop the character well with the average point 73,14% (more than enough ). Based on the data analysis can be concluded that the student at the class IX.4 SMP Negeri Solok Selatan, overall they had already been able to write a short stories with the average point 69,04 (more than enough).
