PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE PENEMUAN TERBIMBING PADA SISWA KELAS VII7 SMPN 1 SOLOK SELATAN

Abstrak

The problem in this study is the low activity and student learning outcomes, less varied instructional strategies used by teachers. The purpose of this study is 1) to increase students' learning activities using guided discovery method in class VII7  Solok Selatan SMP N 1, 2) improve student learning outcomes by using the method of guided discovery in the classroom VII7 SMP N 1 Solok Selatan. Type of research is a classroom action research subjects VII7 graders totaling 24 people. The instrument used in this study was the observation sheets, and achievement test. Analysis using a percentage formula. The results showed that by using the guided discovery method can improve students' learning activities of an average 54.62% in the first cycle to 79.95% in the second cycle. And student learning outcomes 45.83 at 78.26 in the first cycle to the second cycle.
