Abstrak

DEVELOPMENT OF THE ABAKUS PROPERTIES MATERIALS OF COUNT FRACTION NUMBER OPERATIONS FOR STUDENTS CLASS IV SDN 06 KAMPUNG LAPAI Shintia¹, Rieke Alyusfitri¹ Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Bung Hatta University Email : Shintyaflolitha@gmail.com ABSTRACT This study aims to produce teaching aids for fractions abacus on fractional number operations material for fourth grade students at SDN 06 Kampung Lapai that meet valid and practical criteria. This type of research is research and development which is limited to 3-D, namely define, design, and develop. The research instruments include validity sheets and practicality sheets (teacher and student response questionnaires). The validator consists of 2 expert lecturers, namely material and design validators. Based on the teaching aids that have been developed, the validation of teaching aids carried out from the material aspect obtained a percentage of validity of 91.76% with very valid criteria, from the design aspect obtained a percentage of validity of 89.57% with valid criteria. Judging from the average validity of the fractional abacus teaching aid in the fractional number arithmetic operation material, it meets the very valid criteria with a percentage of validity of 90.67%. The practicality test consists of 1 class teacher and 25 students, from the practical results by the teacher, a percentage of 91.25% is obtained with very practical criteria and the practicality results by students are 92.25% with very practical criteria. Judging from the average practicality of the fractional abacus teaching aid in the fractional number arithmetic operation material, it meets the very practical criteria with a practicality percentage of 91.75%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the fraction abacus teaching aid in fractional arithmetic operations material meets valid and practical criteria that can be used in learning in class IV Elementary School (SD) independently.
