Abstrak

The world of education is a world that plays an important role in human life, changing attitudes and behavior to make it even better. Education is the most important thing that must be owned by every human being, with education it can determine the progress and intelligence of a nation. Therefore, along with the development of science and technology as well as the progress of the times, education is very necessary to educate a nation. Science is a science that studies all human efforts to understand nature that can be put to good use in a systematic manner with the correct procedures through observation and experimentation, the results of which can explain natural phenomena around with very accurate results. Science is a subject that focuses on studies that include the basic concepts and principles of what is happening in the universe. In the natural science learning process, a learning model is needed that can improve the quality of learning carried out by an educator. The ability of an educator to use a variety of learning models can make the learning process less monotonous and can eliminate students' boredom in learning. Researchers conducted development research with "Development of Student Worksheets (LKPD) Based on Jigsaw Type Cooperative Learning Models in Science Learning Theme 8 Sub-theme 1 About the Water Cycle in Class V UPTD SDN 03 Sungai Talang, Guguak District, Lima Puluh Kota Regency. Type of research development (Research & Development). The model used in developing Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on jigsaw cooperative learning is the 4D model (Four-D model) Borg and Gall, Sugiyono, (2017: 298). The use of this model is based on the consideration that this model was developed procedurally in accordance with systematic steps. In the implementation of this research, only up to the 3-D stage, namely define, design, and develop, but due to limited ability, in this study, writing only reached the development stage. Based on the results of research on the development of LKPD based on the jigsaw type cooperative learning model in science learning, the overall validity average is 3.67 with very valid criteria. As for the average practicality by educators with an average of 90.00 with very practical criteria and 83.22 students with very practical criteria. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the LKPD based on the jigsaw type cooperative learning model in science learning is very valid and very practical to use in science learning, so it can be used as one of the teaching materials in learning in class V SDN 03 Sungai Talang Kecamatan Guguak Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota.
