Abstrak

DEVELOPMENT OF IPS-BASED LEARNING MODULE CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL) MODEL FOR CLASS IV ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS Prity Desri Rahmadani1, M.Tamrin1 1Elementary School Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Bung Hatta University Email : desriprity@gmail.com This study aims to produce social studies learning modules based on the Contextual Teaching and Learning model in class IV that meet valid and practical criteria. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) proposed by Trianto with a 4D development model, namely Devine (Definition), Design (Design). Development (Development), and Disseminate (Deployment) which is then modified into 3-D. The data collection instrument used in this study was a questionnaire/questionnaire consisting of a Validation sheet and a Practicality sheet. The steps taken are define, design, and develop. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The module was validated by three expert validators, namely material experts with 81.66% valid criteria, linguists with 100% very valid criteria, and design experts with 93.05% very valid criteria. The overall average value of the validity of the three expert validators is 91.66% very valid criteria. For the practicality test, the module was used by teachers and students of SD Negeri 04 Kampung Olo with 95% practical results for teachers with very practical criteria and 95.09% students with very practical criteria. The average practicality is 95.09% very practical criteria. The results of the study can be concluded that the validity of the social studies learning module based on the Contextual Teaching and Learning model for class IV is declared valid both in terms of material, language, and design aspects. Practical results are declared practical both from the aspect of teacher and student assessment. This shows that the social studies learning module based on the Contextual Teaching and Learning model is valid and practical to be used as a learning resource or teaching material for students and teachers.
