KATA SAPAAN KEKERABATAN BAHASA MINANGKABAU DI LINGKUNGAN RUMAH GADANG MANDE RUBIAH KENAGARIAN LUNANG, KECAMATAN LUNANG SILAUT, KABUPATEN PESISIR SELATAN

Abstrak

This research was triggered by the background the calling words in the kinship of Minangkabau language around Rumah Gadang (Minangkabau Traditional House) “Mande Rubiah” at the village of Lunang  of Lunang Silaut District in South Pesisir Regency. The aim of this research was to describe the form of meaning and context of using the calling code in the kinship of Minangkabau language around Rumah Gadang “Mande Rubiah” at the village of Lunang  of Lunang Silaut District in South Pesisir Regency. This research used theory about the definition of calling code in the kinship and Minangkabau relationship was affirmed by Subyakto, Abdul Chaer and AA Navis. The type of this research was a qualitative research by using descriptive method. The object of this research was the usage of calling code in the kinship of Minangkabau language around Rumah Gadang “Mande Rubiah”. The analysis of data can be found that there were calling codes in the kinship in Minangkabau based on two tied of relationship, those are: the relationship based on kinship and marriage. It can be concluded that, to be found from the type view, the calling code around Rumah Gadang  “Mande Rubiah” have similar form and function with the calling code in Minangkabau language.
