KEEFEKTIFAN KALIMAT PADA PENULISAN PROPOSAL PENELITIAN MAHASISWA ANGKATAN 2010 PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN BAHASA DAN SASTRA INDONESIA FKIP UNIVERSITAS BUNG HATTA
Abstrak
This research is motivated by several problems associated with writing skills, especially in writing research proposal. This study aimed to describe the effectiveness of sentences in research proposal written by class of 2010 Study Program Indonesian Language and Literature, Language and Art Education Department, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Bung Hatta.The theory used in this study is the theory of Ida Bagus Putrayasa about effective sentences and the characteristics of effective sentence. This research is a qualitative descriptive method. Data sources of this study is the research proposal in the field of education with qualitative research, quantitative, experimental research and object are sentences in the research proposal, particularly in the research background. Based on the results of this study the sentence a research proposal included effective. Of 26 research proposals in education, there are 12 research proposals with qualitative, quantitative, and experimentation. Consist of 281 sentences are 56 words that have not been effective in terms of aspects unity, 33 sentences are not effective in terms of effectiveness aspects economy, 10 sentences are not effective in terms of aspects emphasis, and 10 sentences are not effective review of aspects kevariasian. This means that there is a sentence of 281, 107 sentences declared effective and effective 174 sentences. From the data analysis it can be concluded that the effectiveness of the sentence at the end of the student assignment class of 2010 Study Program Indonesian Language and Literature, Language and Art Education Department, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Bung Hatta from the aspect of unity, economy, emphasis, and variety is included effective.
