Abstrak

The low willingness of students to ask questions, answer questions, and out of time studying, and chide when learning mathematics makes researchers feel the need to implement the strategy by giving praise and punishment. The purpose of this study is: how increased activity and student learning outcomes in mathematics by giving praise and punishment in class I SDN 15 Lubuk Alung and how improving student learning outcomes in mathematics by giving praise and punishment in class I SDN 15 Lubuk Alung. Subjects of this study were first grade students of SDN 15 Lubuk Alung which totaled 29 people. Based on the analysis of the observation sheet activities and student learning outcomes in cycles I and II are increased. Provided that the use of praise and punishment learning in mathematics learning can improve student learning activities in the classroom I SDN 15 Lubuk Alung.
