PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN MEMBACA DENGAN MENERAPKAN METODE QUANTUM READING DIKELAS V SDN 28 SIMPANG KECAMATAN KOTO XI TARUSAN KABUPATEN PESISIR SELATAN
Abstrak
The research was motivated by the observation that states that the students in learning activities reading still using the old habits that become an obstacle in reading, such as reading just as a task, a lack of student interest in reading because the methods used are less attractive so that the student is reading below the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in activity by applying the method of teaching reading in class V Quantum Reading Elementary School District 28 Simpang Koto XI Tarusan South Coastal District. The theory used is (1). Reading the opinion Hernowo Quantum theory, (2). Opinions Nurhadi read something about the theory increase capacity, (3). Opinions theory Soedarso read something quickly and effectively. This action is Classroom Action Research (PKT). The study consisted of two cycles, the first cycle and second cycle, each cycle consisted of two meetings. The results showed that the activity of students in one cycle as much as 65% to 88% increase in cycle two (an increase of 23%). It can be concluded Quantum Reading method can increase the activity of learning to read in class 28 Simpang SDN Koto District XI Tarusan South Coastal District.
