PENINGKATAN PARTISIPASI BELAJAR DALAM PEMBELAJARANIPA MELALUI ACTIVE LEARNING TEKNIK TOURNAMENTSISWA DISDN 01 SIPORA KABUPATEN KEPULAUAN MENTAWAI
Abstrak
The purposes of this research are: 1) to describe student’s participation in questioning, 2) to increase participation on arguing, and 3) to increase participation in group discussion. This research is class measuring research. Subject in this research is 18 students of IV class SDN 1 Sipora mentawai regency. Instruments in this research are observation sheet of teacher’s activity and student’s participation. Based on results of this research, average percentage of student’s participation in answering is 47.21% in first cycle and it is rise into 83.32% in second cycles; student’s participation in arguing is increasing from 30.55% in first cycle rise into 55.55% in second cycles; and student’s participation in group discussion increase from 52.77% in first cycle into 97.22% in second cycles. From results, it can be concluded that active learning tournament technique can increase learning of IPA subject, especially in questioning, answering, and group discussion in IV class SDN 01 Sipora Mentawai regency. It is suggested that teacher can increase student’s activity in IPA subject’s learning with active learning tournament technique.
