“Development of Indonesian Learning Modules Based on a Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Approach in Grade IV Students of SDN 35 Pegambiran Kota Padang
Abstrak
DEVELOPMENT OF INDONESIAN LANGUAGE LEARNING MODULES BASED ON CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL) APPROACH IN GRADE IV STUDENTS OF SDN 35 PEGAMBIRAN PADANG CITY Rina Hidayah¹, Wirnita Eska¹ ¹School Teacher Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Hatta University Email: rinahidayah1529@gmail.com ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the absence of the use of learning modules based on the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach in Indonesian subjects at SDN 35 Pegambiran Kota Padang in grade IV. This research produced a Indonesian learning module based on the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach in grade IV students of SDN 35 Pegambiran, Padang city that met the criteria of valid, practical and effective. The theory used is the nature of language learning according to Susanto (2013) and Samsiyah (2016), the theory of modules according to Daryanto (2013), the theory of the CTL approach according to Arsa (2015). This type of research is development research or Research and Development (R&D). The development model uses 4-D which is modified to 3-D. Stages carried out are define, design, and develop. The results showed that the resulting module was categorized as valid by validators with an average value of 87.07%. On the practicality of the module, getting an average of 94.07% with very practical criteria from teachers and students. The results on the effectiveness test are categorized as very effective with an average of 100% of the students. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL)-based Indonesian learning module in grade IV students of SDN 35 Pegambiran Kota Padang is declared very valid, practical, and effective to be used in the learning process Indonesian grade IV students.
