Development of an E-book for Education Management and Leadership Courses Using an Android-Based Professional Flip PDF Application.

DEVELOPMENT OF LEADERSHIP AND EDUCATION MANAGEMENT E-BOOK USING FLIP PDF PROFESSIONAL APPLICATION BASED ON ANDROID Supi Rahmi1, Ade Fitri Rahmadani1 Informatics and Computer Engineering Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Bung Hatta University e-mail : supirahmi1998@gmail.com ABSTRACT This study aims to produce a design of learning media in the form of e-book media forEducation Management and Leadership courses using the Flip PDF Professional Application based on Android that is valid and practical. This type of research is development research using the Research and Development (RnD) approach. In the Education Management and leadership courses, the learning implementation process still uses power point media, video shows sourced via YouTube, and various reference books related to lecture material. With the Development of Course e-books using the Flip PDF Professional application based on Android, this can help and provide convenience in valid and practical lecture activities. This media development uses the Flip PDF Professional application in making e-books and uses the Corel Draw application for media design. This study looks at whether the Android-based e-book media that is designed is practical, then a trial is carried out by design and material experts. The indicators tested by design experts are navigation indicators, fonts, media, colors, animations, layouts, supporting software, and originality. The results showed that the android-based e-book media was valid. While the material expert test conducted by the material expert, the results showed that it was valid. And then tested on users, namely students. Aspects that are tested for students to see aspects of the material, aspects of use, aspects of appearance, and aspects of language. The results showed that the android-based e-book media by students was practical. Based on the data above, it can be concluded that the android-based e-book media is valid and practical so that it can be used in lectures for students in the Education Management and Leadership course.
