Development Of Scientific-Based Indonesian Learning Module For Class IV Students SDN 09 Surau Gadang Padang

Indonesian is one of the important subjects that can help students learn other subjects such as Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, and Citizenship Education. If you don't learn Indonesian, other lessons as mentioned will be difficult for students to accept, because Indonesian is a subject that can be used as an introduction to material that will be delivered by teachers at school. In addition, learning Indonesian also includes four aspects of language skills, namely: listening skills, speaking skills, reading skills and writing skills, these four aspects are closely related to each other. In Indonesian language learning activities in elementary schools, it is necessary to use an interesting learning approach and be able to increase students' desire to learn. One of the approaches demanded by the 2013 Curriculum is a scientific approach. In the learning process at school, namely learning Indonesian language in class IV SDN 09 Surau Gadang, (1) the teacher explains the learning of many students who are busy with their friends and do not pay attention to the teacher when explaining learning. (2) some students like to learn Indonesian but because of the lack of learning resources in the form of modules, it causes low student learning outcomes in Indonesian lessons. In the learning process, researchers also observe teachers in the learning process. (3) Teachers still use the lecture method and are varied with questions and answers, so that it makes students not enthusiastic when learning, and makes students bored, (4) There is no interesting teaching material in the form of modules that can attract students to study so that student learning outcomes are low in Indonesian language learning. The data is supported from student learning outcomes in Class IV SDN 09 Surau Gadang in Indonesian language learning from 20 students still many who have not reached the predetermined KKM score of 75. So based on this problem the researchers conducted development research with the title "Development of Language Learning Modules". Scientific-Based Indonesia for Fourth Grade Students at SDN 09 Surau Gadang Padang†The type of research carried out is Research and Development (R&D) research using a 4D development model, namely Define, Design, Development and Disseminate. However, in this research, it only reached the Develop stage. The test subjects of this learning module were fourth grade students of SDN 09 Surau Gadang. The instrument in this study used a sheet of validity, practicality and effectiveness. At the validation stage, the module that has been designed is continued with validation activities by a validator consisting of 3 expert lecturers, namely material experts, linguists, and design experts. The practicality stage is carried out after the module is validated and is feasible to be tested with the aim of knowing the level of practicality of the learning module. As for the effectiveness, pretest and posttest were carried out to students, namely a limited scale and a small scale. Based on the results of research on the development of scientific-based Indonesian Language Learning Module development on poetry material, the fourth grade students of SDN 09 Surau Gadang with an average validity assessed by validators of material experts 96.66%, linguists 88.00%, and design experts 92.00%, so that the overall average the validity value of three expert lecturers is 92.22% with very valid criteria. In the practical process, the module was piloted by 2 teachers and 20 Grade IV students at SD Negeri 09 Surau Gadang. Practicality results were obtained from the practicality sheet (teacher and student response questionnaires) which got a practicality score of 90.80% by teachers and 92.84 students' practicality which was very practical so that the average practicality by teachers and students was 90.82% with very practical criteria. In the process of effectiveness on a small scale is 100% and a limited scale is 100% with a very effective category. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Scientific-Based Indonesian Learning Module for class IV SD Negeri 09 Surau Gadang is declared to be very valid, very practical and effective in the learning process in order to increase students' grades in Indonesian subjects.Referensi
