Abstrak

According to Yanto (2019: 75-82) Learning is a complex process that occurs during a person's life. The learning process occurs because of the interaction of a person (individual) with his environment. Learning has a very important meaning. According to Hasafy (2014: 66-79) Learning is a two-way process, where teaching is carried out by the teacher as an educator, while learning is carried out by students or students. According to Indriani (2015:17-28) Learning is a process of interaction of students with teachers and learning resources in a learning environment. While science is a collection of knowledge arranged systematically, and in general its use is limited to natural phenomena. Its development is not only marked by the existence of a collection of facts, but by the scientific method and scientific attitude. According to Putra (2017:17-23) Science learning in SD / MI is the initial foundation in creating students who have scientific knowledge, skills and attitudes. Science learning is directed at finding out about nature systematically, so that science is not only the mastery of a collection of knowledge in the form of facts, concepts, or principles, but also a process of discovery and the formation of scientific attitudes. According to Muakhirin (2014; 51-57) IPA discusses natural phenomena that are arranged systematically based on the results of experiments and observations made by humans. According to Muakhirin (2014) Science education can prepare individuals to improve their quality of life. This is possible because with science education, students are guided to think critically, solve problems, and make decisions that can improve their quality of life towards a scientifically educated society. According to Sugianto (2020:159-170) Inquiry learning model is a way of teaching that can increase the learning independence of school students. This inquiry learning model positions students to increase the breadth of thinking power maturely. Students who are able to learn on their own must be able to be confident in conveying the information they find to their friends. Teachers can motivate students to sell hard. According to Damayanti (2014:1-2) Defining inquiry as a series of learning activities that involve maximally all students' abilities to search and search systematically, critically, logistically, and analytically. So that they can formulate their own findings with confidence. In other words, inquiry is a process to obtain and obtain information by conducting observations or experiments to find answers or solve problems to questions or problem formulation using critical thinking skills and logistics. The type of research used is in the form of Classroom Action Research (CAR). According to Atul (2014: 28) states that Classroom Action is one type of action research conducted by teachers to improve the quality of learning in their classrooms. An increase in student learning outcomes in class IV SDN 06 Kampung Lapai Padang with the Inquiry Learning Model in science learning after being implemented in the first cycle, the students' science learning outcomes with an average of 70.74 increased to 80.37 in the second cycle. The average increase in learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II is 9.63
