Development of Learning Media Using PowerPoint on Fractions for Class II SDN 05 Sungai Geringging IIâ€

Education is one of the efforts to increase human capacity both cognitively, emotionally and psychologically. Education is also a means to develop the potential and skills of students through learning that allows them to live in society, nation and state. According to Fransiska (2021:39), Mathematics is learning that teaches the science of solving problems, Mathematics can also train students in critical, systematic and logical thinking in everyday life. Mathematics is taught from an early age because it is to build students' initial knowledge in learning mathematics. This is because mathematics is one of the means of scientific thinking that is indispensable in developing students' thinking power. The type of research conducted is Research and Development (R&D) research using the ADDIE development model, which consists of Analysis, Design Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The subjects of this PowerPoint learning media trial were second grade students of SDN 05 Sungai Geringging II. The instrument in this study used a validity and practicality sheet. At the validation stage of the PowerPoint learning media that has been designed, it is continued with validation activities by a validator consisting of 3 expert lecturers, namely material experts, linguists, and design experts. The practicality stage is carried out after the PowerPoint media is validated and is feasible to be tested with the aim of knowing the practicality of PowerPoint learning media. Based on the results of research on the development of learning media using PowerPoint with an overall average validity of 90.71% with a very valid category, while the average practicality by teachers is 90.90% in a very practical category and getting practical results by students with an average the overall average is 85.36% with a very practical category. So that the overall results of the practicality of teachers and students with an average of 88.18% with very practical criteria. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the learning media using PowerPoint is very valid and very practical to use in learning mathematics so that it can be used as one of the teaching materials in learning in class II SDN 05 Sungai Geringging II.Referensi
