Abstrak

In every learning carried out not all learning objectives can be achieved by educators, so that learning objectives can be achieved educators will use a learning media to facilitate educators and help students during learning. The understanding of students in learning mathematics is the goal of every learning where students can understand the learning material, the task of an educator is as a guide who will guide students in achieving a certain goal. Then the Play Wheel Game Media is used to help educators and students because there is no use of learning media. The rotating wheel game media was developed with practice questions, as well as singing and dancing cards so that students can learn while playing, this media will be used in providing training to students to make it easier for students to work on practice questions well. So a research was conducted with the title "Development of Wheel Game Media in Mathematics Subjects in Class IV SD Negeri 12 Api-api". The rotating wheel game media is one of the innovative, creative and interesting learning media that can be used by educators in learning, in learning mathematics on fraction material the use of this media is very good for learning mathematics, with this rotating wheel game so that learning is not monotonous and boring, the use of This game media can attract students in learning and not lazy in doing exercises. Djamarah in Wahab (2006:1), the media can also be referred to as a tool that can be used as a distributor of messages to achieve learning objectives. So that the media can be said that something that can convey a message and can stimulate the thoughts, feelings and willingness of students so that it can encourage the learning process in him. This research was designed using the Research and Development (R&D) method. According to Arifin (2018: 28), the research method used to produce certain products and test the effectiveness of these products. Researchers use research and development research methods because researchers want to develop products in the form of rotating wheels media that can be useful for solving problems that researchers do at SD Negeri 12 Api-api. This research is a research and development with a development model called 4 D which was developed by Thiagarajan. According to Trianto (2014: 233), the 4D model consists of 4 stages, namely: define (defining stage), design (design stage), develop (development stage) and desiminate (deployment stage). The products developed in this study will be validated by experts and then will be tested on fourth grade students of SD Negeri 12 Api-api. At the time of the trial, the implementation of the media that had been made was observed. However, due to limited ability, time and cost, this research was developed to the develop stage or can be shortened to 3D. The first stage is the definition stage, at this stage the determination of learning is carried out by analyzing the current curriculum, the curriculum that is being implemented at SD Negeri 12 Api-api is the 2013 revised 2018 curriculum in the Mathematics subject matter of KD fractions. 3.1 and 4.1. The second stage is the design, at this stage the Play Wheel Game Media is designed for Fractional Mathematics Subjects in Grade IV SD Negeri 12 Api-api. The rotating wheel media that will be developed is with more practice questions, namely singing cards or dancing cards, as well as a more attractive appearance so that mathematics learning is more fun, the spinning wheel media can be used in all learning. The third stage, namely development, includes validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Validation on the Media Wheel Spinning Fractions in Grade IV SD Negeri 12 Api-api was validated by 3 experts from the lecturers of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Bung Hatta University consisting of from material experts, linguists, and display experts. Practicality of the Playing Wheel Game Media in Mathematics Subjects on Fractions in Grade IV SD Negeri 12 Api-api is practiced by educators and students. The effectiveness of the Spin Wheel Media is done by looking at the students' pretest and posttest. The pretest is used to obtain data on the learning outcomes of students' prior knowledge before starting learning activities, while the posttest is used to obtain student learning outcomes after using the Spin Wheel Media. Based on the results of research on the development of the rotating wheel game media for learning mathematics with fractions, an overall average validity of 94% was obtained with very valid criteria, while for practicality by educators and students, an overall average of 91.7% was obtained with very practical criteria, and for the effectiveness of the pretest and posttest obtained an overall average of 0.73 with high criteria. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the Spin Wheel Game Media in the mathematics subject matter of fractions in grade IV SD Negeri 12 Api-api is very valid, very practical, and effectively used in learning mathematics, so it can be used as one of the learning media in class IV SD Negeri 12 Api-api.
