Development of Discovery Learning-Based Indonesian Learning Module for Class IV Students at SDN 06 Padang Birik-Birik Kota Pariaman

Learning is the interaction of students with teachers, students with learning resources in a learning environment (Amir, 2017:6). Indonesian language learning is essentially teaching students about good and correct Indonesian language skills according to their goals and functions (Khair, 2018:89). This Indonesian language learning develops learning modules, the module is one form of teaching material that is packaged in a complete and systematic way, it contains a set of planned learning experiences and designed to help students master learning objectives (Daryanto, 2013:9). The learning module is developed based on discovery learning. Discovery learning is a learning model to develop an active way of learning by self-discovering, investigate alone, investigate alone, then the results obtained will be long-lasting in memory (Hosnan, 2014:282). Steps discovery learning is stimulation, problem statement, data collection, data processing, verification, generalization (Priyatni, 2015:107-108). After learning using the Indonesian language-based learning module, discovery learning, then tested valid, practical, and effective on the learning module developed. The types of data used in the study are Research and Development (R&D) by using 4D (define, design, development, and dissemination) (Sugiyono, 2019:394). The subjects of the research trial were class students IV SDN 06 Padang Birik-birik which amounted to 27 students. At the validation stage of the designed learning module, validated by a validator consisting of 3 expert lecturers. In the practical phase, 2 scale stages were carried out, namely a limited scale carried out by 5 fourth grade students, and a small scale carried out for 27 fourth grade students. In the effectiveness stage, there are 2 scale stages, namely a limited scale for 5 students, and a small scale for 27 students. Product development carried out carried out in four stages, namely the definition stage, this definition stage has carried out curriculum analysis, needs analysis, student analysis, and concept analysis that has been in accordance with fourth grade students and schools. Design stage, designing Indonesian language learning modules based on discovery learning. Development stage, the first stage is to validate the expert lecturers on material, language, and appearance after being revised from expert lecturers' suggestions and declared valid. The second stage, developing a practicality questionnaire on the module that has been used through 2 stages, namely a limited scale of 1 teacher and 5 students, a small scale of 1 teacher and 27 students, the results of the practical analysis of teacher and student questionnaires are declared practical. The third stage, developing the effectiveness of the module through 2 stages, namely a limited scale of 5 students and a small scale of 26 students, the results of the effectiveness are stated to be very effective using the developed module. Based on the results of research on the development of Indonesian language learning modules based on discovery learning, validation is carried out by lecturers who are experts in material, language, and appearance, the average validity is obtained 93,05% with very valid criteria, practicality on teacher and student questionnaires for a limited scale with an average 89,37%, small scale on teacher and student questionnaires for small scale with average 93,34%. Effectiveness test for a limited scale with effective criteria is 0,78, small scale with effective criteria is 0,78. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Indonesian language learning module is based on discovery learning for class students kelas IV SDN 06 Padang Birik-birik very valid, practical, and effective to be used as teaching materials in learning Indonesian.Referensi
