According to Kosasih (2019: 18) the module is an independent learning package that includes learning experiences that are planned for students, and are systematically designed to help participants achieve learning goals. Modules are printed materials that are designed to be studied independently by students. Modules can also be interpreted as a learning process regarding a particular language unit that is arranged systematically, operationally, and directed to be used by students, accompanied by guidelines for its use for teachers. The function of the module is as an independent teaching material, as an evaluation tool and as a student reference material. The lack of use of teaching materials is an obstacle for students in understanding the learning materials delivered by the teacher. Teaching materials in the form of modules are expected to make students able to learn independently and learn creatively, increase curiosity, increase student learning motivation and can develop students' abilities in interacting directly with their learning environment. One of the learning models that can be used is the murder model) which is able to help teachers relate the concept of learning to students' real situations. However, in the learning process, several facts were found in the implementation of learning in schools. Facts such as: 1) The subject matter is only points that are not disclosed with clear sub-materials. 2) There is no independent development and provision of modules by teachers for students at SDN 47 Korong Gadang. 3) the lack of availability of other source books so that students only receive learning from the teacher, 4) educators need interesting learning materials so that students can learn in learning. Therefore, the researcher conducted a development research entitled "Development of Class IV MurderBased Learning Module at SDN 47 Korong Gadang". The type of research carried out is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADD (Analysis, design, and development) model. The subjects of the research trial were fourth grade students of SDN 47 Korong Gadang who found 29 people. At the validation stage, the module that has been designed is validated by a validator consisting of 3 lecturers from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Bung Hatta University. The practicality stage is carried out after the module has been validated and deserves to be tested to determine the level of practicality of the module that has been made. Based on the results of research on the development of murder-based mathematics learning modules, the overall validity average is 87.61% with valid criteria, while for the average practicality by teachers, the percentage of practicality is 99.4% with very practical criteria and practicality results by students are obtained. with a practicality percentage of 90.25% with very practical criteria. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the murder-based mathematics learning module meets the valid and very practical criteria that can be used in the mathematics learning process for fourth grade elementary school (SD) students independentlyReferensi
