Abstrak

This research is motivatedbythe lack ofmastery learning students in Civics classVII.1 SMP Negeri 2 Solok Selatan, low mastery students indicated students are less active in the learning process because teachers tend touse the lecture methodso it does not increase the student's thinking, inability to cooperate with friends sebangkunya and inability to ask. One way that can be used to overcome this problem is to use a model of cooperative learning model type Make A Match, which means learning to involve more students.
The study was Learning using a model of cooperative learning model Make A Match.
The subjects werestudents of SMP Negeri 2 Solok Selatan. The results in the first cycles, completeness student learning out comes as much as 56,66%. Conducted two cycles. Research datain the form of process and learning out comes derived from observation and planning every actionin Citizenship Education 66% consisted of meetings to evaluate student mastery-1 (50%), the 2nd meeting(55%) and FinalTest first cycle with a percentage of 65%. In the second cycle students' mastery of learning out comes comprised 78.33% of students meeting mastery to-1 (65%), meeting of 2 (85%) and second Final Test cycle with the percentage of85%. Thus an increase in mastery learning out comes of students in the first cycle to the second cycle. When we see theresults of the assessment that has been done, then an in crease of all aspects of the average value, the activity of the teacher and student activities.It can be concluded that learning   through models Citizenship Education Make A Match can improve student learning out comes.
