PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA SISWA KELAS VII1 DENGAN METODE BERMAIN PERAN DI SMPN 2 X KOTO SINGKARAK KABUPATEN SOLOK

Abstrak

The background of this research is that the student got difficulties in speaking skill. Most of the students were difficult to pronoun and to use the expression and also the diction. The purposes of this research is to describe the improvement of the students speaking ability at grade VII1 of SMPN 2 X Koto Singkarak by using role play method. This research is a classroom action research, with the participant were the students of grade VII1 of SMPN 2 X Koto Singkarak. The number of the participant were 14 students. The research were conducted for two cycle. The instrument of the research were speaking test. The student were sheet, and observation work sheet. The finding of the research are role play method can improve the students speaking ability of grade VII1 at SMPN 2 X Koto Singkarak 33,94% in general.
