ANALISIS MAJAS DALAM LIRIK LAGU IWAN FALS DI ALBUM WAKIL RAKYAT

Abstrak

The purpose of this study was (1) to describe the use of figure of speech in Iwan Fals song lyrics contained in the album "People's Deputy", (2) to describe the figure of speech meaning of the lyrics of the songs contained in the album "People's Deputy" Iwan Fals. The theory used in this study is the theory put forward Tarin, this study is descriptive qualitative research method. Based on the results of the study are the use of figure of speech in the song lyrics in the album "People's Deputy" Iwan Fals that the creator in creating the song lyrics on a lot of figurative language/ figure of speech. Figure of speech which is found throughout the song there are 12 kinds of figure of speech is figure of speech Metaphor 27, 12 figure of speech personification, figure of speech hyperbole 6, majas elipsis 5, 2 allegorical figure of speech, figure of speech sinekdoke 2, 2 euphemistic figure of speech, figure of speech repitisi 2, 4 irony figure of speech, figure of speech antonomasia 3, 4 oksimoron figure of speech, figure of speech parallelism 3, and the least figure of speech is figure of speech found litotes climax and each of which are found only 1 piece that is on the small holiday song and song dull diet. It can be concluded that: the creator in creating the lyrics of the song on the album "People's Deputy" is more often used figure of speech metaphor in order to describe the poet to audience how the description of shape to be conveyed by the poet through his work.
