PANDANGAN MASYARAKAT TERHADAP TRADISI BAJAPUIK DALAM PERKAWINAN DI KABUPATEN PADANG PARIAMAN

Abstrak

Minangkabau have mores in marriage that is " Adaik Bajapuik" a[n woman custom give a number of money to men. Pursuant to breakdown of above writer interest to check tradition of manjapuik research title " What People Care About Tradition of Bajapuik In Marriage  Sub-Province Field Pariah". People of Minang classify custom become four: custom of nan custom sabana , custom of nan custom , custom of nan mores and taradat. bajapuik represent tradition done/conducted by people of minang in marriage custom procession, because in system of matrilineal husband  representing people come. Research type which  using  descriptive qualitative descriptive method mengunakan. Population amount to 20 people, sample 20 people. Research location High Nagari Koto, Gadur. Time Research in June. Technique and appliance data collecting of observation mengunakan, interview, enquette. Tradition process of bajapuik that is men party/ side and woman deliver people to perform contact which in liking if its positive result hence reported  its result. Afterwards  performing event of bajalan night to determine kesepatakan how much/many money of japuik which asking for by man party/ side. After finding a[n kesepatakan, done/conducted  event of m tando antaa. Value which implied in tradition of bajapuik [in] Kenagarian Gadur and of Koto High for example social value, economics, consanquinity. Society Nagari Gadur and of Koto High District Six Beseting Sub-Province Field Pariah still maintain and run tradition of bajapuik
