Abstrak
Improving Student Learning Outcomes in Science through the Jigsaw Learning Model in Grade 4 at SDN 26 Rimbo Kaluang Padang Indah Ramadhani 1 , Siska Angreni 1 Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Bung Hatta University e-mail : Indahramadhani997@gmail.com ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in science subjects through the Jigsaw learning model in grade 4 SDN 26 Rimbo Kaluang Padang. The type of research used in this research is classroom action research. This classroom action research was carried out in three cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. The sample of this study were students of SDN 26 Rimbo Kaluang Padang which consisted of 23 students from grade 4. The instruments used were observation sheets and learning outcomes tests. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the Jigsaw learning model can improve student learning outcomes, by fulfilling the KKM. The increase in learning outcomes can be seen in each cycle, the results of the initial ability test before being given the Jigsaw learning model obtained an average student score of 60.43 with a percentage of 21.73% which is in the low category. Furthermore, after being given learning with the Jigsaw method, there was a significant change in the students' learning mastery scores, namely in the first cycle the average value of students was 70.43 with the percentage of learning completeness 73.91% which was in the high category. Then in the second cycle obtained an average value of 75.86 with a percentage of 86.95% which is in the high category. And in the third cycle obtained an average value of 80.21 with a percentage of 100% which is in the very high category. From the results obtained, it can be concluded that there is an increase in the learning outcomes of grade 4 students after being given a learning method using the Jigsaw model. Therefore, the Jigsaw learning model can be used as a learning model in elementary schools to improve student learning outcomes. Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Jigsaw Learning ModelReferensi
